Facial Reflexology

1 hour session £37

I achieved my diploma in Facial Reflexology in September 2022. During my training this treatment proved to be really popular, even limited treatments were effective, and people reported temporary relief from pain, and a general improvement in wellbeing.

What is Facial Reflexology?

Facial reflexology is a therapeutic method developed by Lone Sorensen in which stimulation of zones and points of the face are utilised to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body.

Facial Reflexology was originally based upon the ancient Chinese, Vietnamese and Aboriginal practice. The correspondence of specific parts of the body to parts of the face was first developed in Vietnam.

Facial Reflexology is a combination of different techniques that work on the Nervous System helping to regulate its complete function.

The Treatment Sessions

The foundation of a treatment involves process of assessment and the creation of an individual treatment specifically designed for the needs of the client. There are 7 basic stages to the treatment which will be explained at the initial consultation.

The full basic 7 stage treatment lasts approximately 40-45 minutes. Extra additional treatments which are tailored to the client's exact needs, are added at the end of the basic stages. This will add approximately 10 - 15 minutes to a full treatment session depending on the individual needs of the person receiving.

Pain Points

As with any holistic treatment this is not a quick fix, and offers no cures or guarantees, and you will benefit from continuing sessions, however, pain areas can be treated by working on Pain Points on the face. My clients have reported relief from pain which has lasted a few days.

Your First Session (Assessment)

You will receive the basic 7 step treatment. From this I will assess your individual needs and the intention is to work on the root cause of your condition. From the information I gather from you and my initial findings, I will create a tailored plan for you.

Second Session onwards...

From the second session I will work on extra points on the face which can include the above mentioned Pain Points if necessary. The number of sessions needed will depend on the individual and the nature of the condition.

For my final Facial Reflexology Exam I worked with an individual with Fibromyalgia, as a result of working with the Ipswich Fibromyalgia Support Group. I have had very good results from the two clients I have worked with, one of which has become a regular

I offer multiple sessions for a reduced price paid up front, please refer to my offers page for more details
